Pricing guides
What window tinting costs in Perth.
Tint is priced on the vehicle, the number of windows and - the part most quotes hide - which film tier is going on the glass. Dyed, carbon and ceramic are different products at different prices. Here's the honest structure.

What moves the price.
Vehicle & glass count
A three-door hatch and a seven-seat SUV are different afternoons. Window count and glass size set the base price.
Film tier
Dyed, carbon or ceramic - the film on the glass is most of what you're paying for. Same shade, very different heat performance and lifespan.
Old film removal
Stripping bubbling old tint and its adhesive properly takes time, and it's quoted up front - not discovered on the day.
Glass shape
Steep rear screens, frameless doors and quarter windows add shaping time. European coupรฉs cost more to tint than they do to book in.
Buy the film, not just the shade.
Two quotes for 'the same tint' can be different products entirely - a dyed film that darkens the glass, or a ceramic film that actually rejects the heat. The shade looks identical on day one; February tells the difference.
Our quotes name the film tier and put the manufacturer's spec sheet next to the price, so you're comparing products, not just numbers.
FAQ
What Perth drivers ask about tinting prices.
Why do tint prices vary so much between shops? +
Film tier is the quiet variable. A quote can be half the price because the film is a dyed entry product rather than carbon or ceramic - same darkness, a fraction of the heat rejection. Always ask which film, not just which shade.
Is ceramic tint worth the extra money? +
If heat is the reason you're tinting, yes - ceramic targets infrared, the heat you feel, and does it even in lighter legal shades. If it's purely looks and privacy, quality carbon film is honest value. We'll tell you which your situation justifies.
Does the price include removing my old tint? +
Removal is its own line - stripping old film and adhesive properly is real work, and hiding it in the price would just mean everyone pays for it. If your glass is bare, you don't pay for removal.
