What detailing costs in Perth.
Detailing quotes go wrong when everything is called a 'detail'. First, the straight answer: we're a paint protection workshop, not a detailing shop - washes and interiors belong with a maintenance detailer. What we price here is paint work in honest stages: polish, correction, and correction with ceramic protection cured over it.

Three stages cover most paint. The first two are quoted as the preparation inside protection jobs - the third is the package we actually sell.

Guide figures for budgeting only - every job is quoted itemised and in writing after we've seen the vehicle or photos, and your quote confirms GST treatment.
What moves the price.
Paint condition
Light wash marks and years of swirls are different amounts of machine time. The lights tell us; the quote follows.
Vehicle size
Panel area is polishing time - a dual cab is simply more paint than a hatch, on every single stage.
Protection add-on
Sealant or ceramic coating over the corrected finish changes the price and the longevity. Coating locks in the correction you just paid for.
Film on the car
Wrapped or PPF-protected panels need film-safe products and technique - our home ground, and it's scoped into the quote from the start.
Correction is a repair, not a wash.
A proper correction permanently removes defects from your clear coat - it's paint repair with machines instead of spray guns, and it's priced like skilled labour because it is.
It's also the shop's home ground: every wrap and PPF job here starts with exactly this surface work. The machines, lights and standards your paint gets are the ones our film jobs depend on.

Do you offer full car detailing? +
No - no maintenance washes, interior details or regular detailing packages. We're a paint protection workshop: the machine work priced on this page happens as the preparation stage of ceramic coating, film and wrap jobs. Why is paint correction so much dearer than a polish? +
Time and stakes. A polish is one machine pass; correction is a measured multi-stage process - compound, refine, inspect - hours per panel section on paint where the clear coat is finite. You're paying for defects to be genuinely removed, not glossed over.
Does the ceramic coating price include correction? +
Coating and correction are quoted as stages because coating locks in whatever is under it. If your paint is already flawless, you skip the correction line; if it isn't, coating without correcting would preserve the swirls forever.
Do you charge to look at the paint? +
No - assessment under the lights is how we quote. Bring the car in, we'll show you what the paint needs and what it doesn't, and the quote comes itemised in writing.
